Earthquakes in Turkey

On February 6, a catastrophic earthquake with magnitude 7.8 took place in south-east Turkey, with coordinates 37.174°N /37.032°E. A few hours later, another M 7.5 took place at 38.024°N/37.203°E. This was not an aftershock but an independent event, triggered by the first one. Seismologists say that seismic activity will continue for months in the region. They are also afraid of the activation of neighboring seismic gaps near the border of the Euro-Asiatic and Arabic tectonic plates.

Astrologically, the earthquakes are shown by the positions of Pluto and Saturn during the previous eclipses, a solar on October 25 and a lunar on November 8, 2022. During these eclipses, the paths of the planets, projected with Astrocartography, was over Central Turkey.

I hold that the eclipses are indicative of the seismic activity on Earth in the following six months and the positions of some planets in the chart of the eclipse shows the dangerous regions. For instance, in my previous post of October 2021 on the probability of strong earthquake in Greece-Turkey, I predicted a strong earthquake along the 28 Meridian (+/- 150 km) from November 15, 2021, until mid-May 2022. On October 12, an M 6.4 took place at 36 N/27 E, on Crete Island.

The recent quakes in Turkey occurred during a full moon at 17 Leo with Uranus square at 16 Taurus. This configuration repeated positions of the past lunar eclipse chart, which had a full Moon at 16 Taurus conjunct Uranus with Saturn square at 19 Aquarius. Additionally, the astrological chart of the earthquake has Saturn at 27 Aquarius, on the Ascendant of the eclipse. Disturbing similarities with the M 7.4 earthquake near Istanbul on August 17, 1999. The preceding total solar eclipse, on 11th August, had Sun-Moon at 19 Leo, Mars 17 Scorpio, Saturn 17 Taurus, Uranus 15 Aquarius. Both eclipses, that of August 1999 and of November 2022, rattled up the Venus at 18 Scorpio on the Turkey’s astrological chart (October 29, 1923, 8.30 pm, Ankara) indicating an emotionally upsetting time.

From May 2022 through April 2023, Uranus will be moving around the 18 Taurus, opposing the Venus of Turkey. Then, the first eclipses of 2023 will take place: a solar at 30 Aries, on April 20, and a lunar on May 6, at 15 Taurus, in conjunction with Uranus at 19 Taurus. The solar eclipse has Pluto on the MC at 32 East and Uranus on the Ascendant, at 29-32 East. The paths of the two planets meet at 35 N/32 E. Therefore, a seismic event of considerable magnitude near these coordinates should be expected, from now to October 2023, in the Mediterranean Sea south-west of Cyprus. This configuration occurred also in the eclipse of October 2022, due to the slow movement of the two planets.

April 2023 Solar Eclipse

The lunar, set for Turkey, has Saturn on the IC at 32 East. This is the most dangerous configuration. Saturn at the IC of a place is always indicative of a seismic event of considerable magnitude. The 32 East meridian crosses the North Anatolian Fault and the seismic gaps in central Turkey. Given that seismologists do not exclude the activation of neighboring seismic areas after the huge earthquakes of February 6, Central Turkey is endangered with a strong earthquake in the six months following the eclipses of spring 2023.

May 2023 Lunar Eclipse

Often, eclipse charts produce effects or rather point to their timing a few days prior to and six months after the eclipse date. New and full moons as well as planetary transits over the eclipse degrees can be a trigger. In 2023 until May, the days to watch for a big earthquake in Turkey are March 17-31 and April 17-30.
